Stirling City Centre

Stirling became one of the foremost towns in medieval Scotland when it was awarded the Royal Charter around 800 years ago. In 2002 Stirling became Scotland's 6th city. Local people still say "I'll meet you in the toon".

In July2017 all the businesses in the City Centre of Stirling voted to create a “Business Improvement District“ - a BID. This has been done in many cities in England and Scotland and has helped regenerate cities such as Hull, Nottingham, and Swindon, Farlkirk, Bathgate and Elgin.

The GoForth Stirling BID is separate from all activites that Stirling Council are responsible for.

Here is a video playlist of just a few projects that Stirling Council have been working on.
